One thing I love about organic free range eggs…
…is that sometimes they are stripey or spotty or are double yolkers
…and that shows me that the hen who laid the egg is being allowed to be more henny than the hens kept in cages
…and the farmers who sold the egg respect the hennyness and don’t have problems with stripey eggs or spotty eggs or double yolkers
… because they don’t see imperfection instead they, like me, see stripey eggs and spotty eggs and double yolkers as extra special.

I used to have a chook called Farrington who occasionally laid eggs with 4 yolks. They were enormous.

Oh I hear you there…, nothing like farm fresh eggs where the chookies are allowed to be natural. I love the eggs that look speckeldy & have double & triple yolkers too 🙂
All this talk of multi-yolkers has me wishing I’d find one. It’s ages since I’ve had one. But then that’s what makes them special 🙂
