Form your own food co-op

I really like the idea of a private food co-op discussed in this article. Briefly, a group  friends got together and formed a co-op to buy food from the market.  This meant they could buy in bulk and so save money.  It also meant that they didn’t have to go to the market every week, only when it was their turn.  Plus they got some associated socialising thrown into the deal on the side.  They have rules to make it all flow harmoniously – like if you haven’t paid your money (via electronic transfer) by Thursday then you’re out for that week.   Hmmm, who do I know who might be interested in something like this?

My dad is a farmer co-operating society manager… this is how he deal with everyday. He helps people in groups organise thier purchasing quotas. What a great post!

Thansk Tes! Sounds like your Dad has a really interesting job. I am continually amazed at all the really different and cool jobs that are out there.
